THE WITCHES MOVIE REVIEW

Leigh: When we were talking about The Witches in the lead up to seeing it, remember I was worried about whether Anne Hathaway was going to be scary enough because Anjelica Huston played the Grand High Witch in the first movie in the ‘90s – and she was scary. She's just naturally quite intimidating, isn't she?

Tim: Oh, yeah, definitely. I think Anne Hathaway's entrance here was absolutely fantastic though. I was hooked because I had same concerns about her, too. But her intro into the movie was just bang on and you went for this weird, wacky ride with her and her turn as the Grand High Witch.

Leigh: When you say intro… you mean when she's first introduced, when she first arrives at the seaside resort?

Tim: Yes.

Leigh: I did not like that.

Tim: Oh okay, talk to me. Why?
