THE WOMAN KING MOVIE REVIEW
Leigh: Let me just point something out to you for a second. Viola Davis was 56 years old when she did The Woman King. Just think about that for a second.
Tim: Wow.
Leigh: Jesus, she looked incredible.
Tim: Honestly.
Leigh: I also want to point out, there's one scene in the film, in terms of the fight choreography, where a knife goes through her character's arm…
Tim: Ey-ey-ey.
Leigh: And she still uses that knife through her arm to kill her opponent. How bad-arse is that?
Tim: Not only was this story so rich and layered, but visually, and in how those moments come together, it is so f**king cool. So brutal. You're cheering these characters on. Even though that moment might seem ridiculous – because it sounds ridiculous, right? Absolutely sounds ridiculous, because it is, but it works! You fist pump through this movie constantly.
Leigh: It doesn't look ridiculous. It looks tough as hell.
