Director Tyler Atkins is an Australian filmmaker known for crafting emotionally resonant narratives and Logie Award Winning Australian actor Daniel MacPherson. Beast follows a once-feared MMA champion (Daniel MacPherson) being pulled back in for the fight of his life when his younger brother is put in danger. Reuniting with the trainer (Russel Crowe) who once made him a legend, he commits to one final showdown against the reigning title-holder. In our chat, Dan and Tyler share how the script evolved into a distinctly Australian story and the incredible challenges faced during the production.
