HAPPIEST SEASON MOVIE REVIEW

Leigh: One thing I found a bit less enjoyable about Happiest Season was that Harper (Mackenzie Davis) was so repeatedly cruel to Abby (Kristen Stewart). Especially when Abby had such incredible, easy chemistry with Aubrey Plaza's character, who guest-starred in this film – I couldn't take my eyes off them.

Tim: They were so good together. Kristen Stewart was fantastic. I think her genuine connection to Harper was really beautiful. But then you just said Harper kind of grinded your gears a little bit?

Leigh: A little bit. Yeah. I did love the height difference between them though – between Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis. That felt realistic and cute. They didn't try to match them up in looks and height and all that kind of thing.

Talking about performances, Kristen Stewart tends to play happy awkwardly. She's a little bit awkward. But she's really grown as an actress. When she had something meaty to play with, she was fantastic in this. She really delivered.

Tim: She offered a lot of compassion, didn’t she? I'm a little bit obsessed with Kristen Stewart at the moment.
