SIMON REX INTERVIEW

Leigh Livingstone: I have to ask, How much convincing did it take to do the nudie run?

Simon Rex: Oh, it didn't take any! Believe it or not, I was born naked.

LL: No kidding! [laughs]

SR: I sometimes even sleep naked. I think nudity is very underrated. I have no problem with it. Especially because it seemed like the world was going to end at any minute last year when we were shooting this movie. With Covid… It was July to August 2020. There was all this civil unrest. Everything was up in the air and things were so crazy that it was kind of like, ‘I’ve got nothing to lose’. I'm exaggerating when I'm saying the world's ending, but it felt very apocalyptic and dystopian and abysmal. It just felt depressing, and it was like, ‘Alright, let's go for it!’ Right?

LL: It did feel like that. I completely agree with you.
